Important Notes

It is important that subjects are able to get in contact with their study PRA/coordinator whenever there is a scheduled diet pick‐up. Without this contact information, problems cannot be resolved as they arise. In this situation, subjects will be instructed to leave a message for the study PRA/coordinator who will reschedule the subject. Under these circumstances, we cannot reschedule the subject without the standard notice (greater than seven business days).

If a subject is unable to make a scheduled pick‐up, please alert the CTRC Metabolic Kitchen staff as soon as possible by calling 303-724-1219. The CTRC Nutrition Services is closed on all CU Anschutz Medical Campus holidays and for a short period of time between Christmas and New Year's day. It would not be economical for us to remain open, as few individuals wish to be on study diet during this holiday period.

We are also closed any time the Anschutz Medical Campus is closed for inclement weather or other emergency situation.

Scheduling

Requests must be made at least seven business days prior to the diet pick-up date or appointment date for other nutrition services such as 24-hour recalls, counseling, anthropometrics, or Oral Food Challenges
Requests must fall within our regular business hours
The diet pick up date must be no more than two days prior to the diet start date
To ensure food freshness and quality, the maximum number of diet days that can be picked up at one time is four days
